BEML Limited has released the notification for Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for a total of 1,346 training positions under Advertisement No. L&D/01/2026. The engagement is for the financial year 2026-27 and includes Graduate, Diploma and ITI Apprentice positions across BEML's Bangalore, Mysore, KGF and Palakkad complexes.

Trade and Qualification Details

BEML has invited applications from candidates belonging to different educational categories. The available trades and disciplines include Engineering, Diploma, ITI and General Graduate streams.

Available technical disciplines include Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Civil, Information Science and Computer Science and other allied branches. ITI trades include Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Welder, Machinist, COPA, Mechanic Diesel and several other trades depending on the BEML complex.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed the prescribed qualifying examination as a regular student in the relevant discipline. The qualifying examination should have been completed during the prescribed period mentioned in the notification.

• Candidates must be at least 17 years of age.
• The required qualification must be obtained through full-time regular education.
• Part-time, correspondence, distance or online qualifications are not eligible where the notification requires full-time regular qualification.
• Candidates should not have already undergone apprenticeship training in any establishment.
• Candidates awaiting the results of their final examination are not eligible.
• The relevant qualification and specialization must match the trade or discipline applied for.
• Candidates should not have completed the qualifying examination beyond the prescribed period from the closing date of application.

Age Limit

Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as prescribed for the apprenticeship engagement. The detailed notification contains the applicable eligibility conditions relating to age and previous apprenticeship training.

BEML Apprentice Stipend 2026

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend according to their qualification category. The stipend is subject to satisfactory attendance and performance during the apprenticeship training.

The apprenticeship is for a period of one year. Apprenticeship training does not automatically provide a claim for regular employment in BEML after completion of the training.
